ECTP has the pleasure to welcome another applicant organisation, EFB, which membership will be formally endorsed by next ECTP General Assembly.

The European Federation of Green Roof and Wall Associations (EFB) is a non-for-profit association established in 1997. As of 2024, there are 18 member associations with a coverage of over 1.500 SMEs in Europe, dealing with the whole value chain embedded in  green roofs and walls deployment. The Federation and its national members actively promote the use of green roofs and green facades throughout Europe. Such technologies are known to provide a better quality of life for towns and cities by returning sealed surfaces back to nature.

By supporting urban green infrastructure conferences over Europe (EUGIC, WGIC, NBS Summit, etc.) and providing free technical webinars and open meetings by known experts of the branch, knowledge transfer across Europe becomes enhanced. Within the last years, working groups, policies and strategic directives supported by the European Commission intensified. Green Roof and Wall Technologies became part of Horizon and Interreg projects across Europe and part of most national level municipal  development.
