Implementation of four task forces for the take up of smart buildings in the SmartBuilt4EU project
SmartBuilt4EU (SB4EU) is an EC-funded project coordinated by ECTP that aims to support the innovation ecosystem in the smart buildings value chain through concrete networking and communication actions. Collaborative work will be organised in order to investigate barriers, as well as to identify opportunities and best practices for the take up of smart buildings.
Four task forces will be set up around four main themes, whose outputs will feed the SB4EU Strategic Research Agenda. Each task force will develop a white paper every 6 month on a specific topic defined collectively:
- Interactions with users: end-user awareness, acceptance and feedback, smart solutions for health & well-being, …
- Efficient building operation: interoperability, smartness for cost optimisation and resource efficiency, …
- Interactions with the external environment: data interoperability to provide flexibility (power grid, district heating networks), …
- Transversal topics: new business models, cyber-security, data protection, education, …
You can register to the Smart Building Innovation Community and notify your interest to join task forces here. You will then be contacted by the consortium to organise your involvement in the topics definition and in the writing of white papers.
