ECTP has been involved in the IWG5-CSA project, which ended on August 31st. ECTP led Work package 1 - Community consolidation - and Work package 3 - Update of the Implementation Plan.

Over the past three years, the following results were achieved:

• With CSA project support, the SET Plan Implementation Working Group on Energy Efficiency in Buildings (IWG5) strengthened its organisation, expanded membership with a coordinating Board, and held regular expert meetings.
• Seven Task Forces produced White Papers on economic, technical, and societal aspects of the energy transition in buildings, with the latest on industrialisation in construction published in August. These informed the first and second updates of the IWG5 Implementation Plan, which now highlights over 90 flagship EU projects.
• The consortium also launched an online tool to assess energy, cost, and environmental impacts of building renovations, and published two reports on EU legislation implementation via NECPs and NBRPs.
• To boost visibility, IWG5 organised Study Tours in Berlin, Brussels, and Valencia, contributed to SET Plan Conferences, and launched the Policy Radar newsletter.
