Scenarios for the transition pathway of the construction ecosystem published!
The new Staff Working Document ‘Scenarios for a transition pathway for a resilient, greener and more digital construction ecosystem’ has been published and the Technical Secretariat of the High Level Construction Forum now invites you to provide your feedback and help design the future of the construction ecosystem through a collaborative online consultation.
You will have until 28 February to contribute to the discussion, adding pledges and commitments to be a part of the transition to a resilient, greener and more digital industry.
Ideas have already been put forward by the High Level Construction Forum cluster groups (which took place in October 2021), and are ready to be built upon by Member States, industry, social partners and academia to turn into reality.
The public consultation following the launch of the Staff Working Document will help to identify the milestones in the transition, the actions required by stakeholders, and the costs and challenges encountered in the process.
It invites you to join forces and propose concrete actions, commitments and investments, as well as a bottom-up assessment of scale, cost, long-term benefits and challenges and conditions.
This consultation is part of a collaborative process to identify actions and share efforts in industrial, local, national and European level by 2030 that will help achieve the twin transition and reinforce the resilience of the industrial construction ecosystem.
