SHAPE II. Call on lighthouse districts - 3rd cohort of its learning programme
The Affordable Housing Initiative (AHI) Partnership has launched in November the 3rd cohort of its learning programme, designed to support professionals from cities, housing providers, and companies who are planning or already delivering affordable housing construction or renovation projects.
The programme is practical and project-based. Its aim is to help organisations develop integrated approaches to housing delivery, improve project quality and avoid common challenges that affordable and social housing projects have faced in the past.
Support is tailored to each participant’s specific housing project. Based on this project, learning needs are identified and AHI designs a customised learning pathway directly linked to the challenges and opportunities of that project. By the end of the programme, participants gain practical tools, skills and resources to strengthen how they deliver their social housing project.
Selected participants will benefit from:
- A tailored learning pathway adapted to their specific housing project and local context
- One-to-one and group support from experienced mentors
- Access to a multidisciplinary pool of experts (technical, social, financial, and process innovation)
- Practical workshops, peer exchange, and online webinars
- A study visit to learn directly from innovative housing projects
- Networking opportunities during the Affordable Housing Initiative Days (next edition: April 2026 in Guimarães, Portugal)
Places are limited in order to ensure a tailor-made learning experience, and the programme is free of charge.
The 3rd application round is open until 30 January 2026, with a few places still available.
