V International Conference Progress of Recycling in the Built Environment - CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
It is well recognized that, at the end-of-life of buildings, recycling and re-using construction materials are effective mitigation actions with regard to important reductions in GHG emissions. Hence, rising awareness to an increasing diversity of actors and calling for their commitment will help boosting the transition needed in what concerns improved management of resources in the built environment.
The RILEM Committee TC-217 Progress of Recycling in the Built Environment started in 2009 a triennial international conference focused on Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW). The aim of this series of conferences is to debate and disseminate recent developments in the characterization, processing, and application of recovered materials from CDW, to strengthen their production, foster confidence in their use, and, consequently, stimulate their demand.
You are invited to submit an abstract and to attend the V International Conference Progress of Recycling in the Built Environment, taking place from 10 to 12 October 2023 in Weimar (Germany), at the Leonardo Hotel and at the IAB Weimar gGmbH.
The conference is organized by the Weimar Institute of Applied Construction Research IABgGmbH (Germany), in cooperation with the Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (Portugal) and the Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil) and have the institutional support of RILEM, VITO and EDA.
The abstract submission platform is now open. Abstracts, with a maximum length of 200 words, written in English, must be submitted here until 30April 2023.
